Executive Coaching

Trish-2

Are you a business executive or a leader looking to develop or enhance your leadership skills, or those of someone in your team? Is your organisation facing serious challenges whereby you need to develop the skills of your key people to accelerate business growth?  Have you grown your business to a point where you now need to form a leadership team and leverage the skills of your best performers?

Perhaps you are looking to transform your business model, affect or integrate an acquisition, enter new markets or simply lift the bar on the performance of your business?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, the decisions you make regarding the people you elect to lead your company, your business or your organisation is what will really make a difference, what will help your business succeed. Leadership is the performance differentiator. Choosing the right people and investing in their development is essential.

At PTP, we provide a range of professional, confidential coaching options for people in key leadership roles, for people you wish to promote but aren’t quite ready, for people you believe the business needs to invest in, and for people who see value in investing in their own professional development. Whether you are looking for leadership career development for a senior manager or a senior executive, we have the coaching skills and experience they need to progress to the next level.

Our belief is that leadership is a profession, a skill that can be learned, and a talent that can be nurtured, developed and mentored.

We create individual coaching programs to support executives develop as leaders – leaders equipped to influence the right outcomes in very complex and fast-paced business environments. Our focus is on developing the individual by equipping them with the skills and capabilities leaders of today require.

We combine our evidence-based coaching approach with business acumen and industry experience to seriously challenge and then support people to grow and transform. Our evidence-based approach draws on well-researched psychological theories and models and infuses both with a sound understanding of organisational behaviour at a theoretical and practical level.

IS THERE VALUE IN EXECUTIVE COACHING?

Camilla, Darren, Stephanie and many others say yes (see testimonials).

Our experienced view is that executive coaching is the most effective way to develop key people and sustainably transform business performance.

At PTP, our executive coaching approach is an evidence-based solution-focused process, involving collaboration between the coach, client and the organisation. The coaching agenda is determined collaboratively between all three parties and every assignment is unique, reflecting the aligned needs of the business / organisation and the individual being coached.

The coach works closely with the client in a confidential relationship that ensures the development of trust, a key factor for successful coaching assignments. Our coaching approach is very objective-based and holistic. We believe in helping clients develop to their full potential, and that their long-term success and sustainable success for their business are extricably linked.

As such we focus not only on skill and capability development but also on areas such as wellness for the client and their teams. We believe in the power of organisational culture to perpetuate performance and see linkages between “organisational wellness” and business outcomes. Our research-based approach has confirmed linkages between wellness and performance both at an individual and team / organisational level.

What are the benefits of coaching?

Being a leader in this very fast-paced digital world requires an extraordinary range of skills and capabilities. Leaders need to be great delegators and time managers – they are called on to coach their people, develop strategies, manage and lead change, select, recruit and motivate key people, work well with sales and marketing. They also need to ensure that client service levels and product quality meets client expectations, grow the business, manage risk and regulatory obligations and ensure staff engagement remains high.

This can be challenging even for the most experienced and talented leaders. Coaching provides these leaders and their teams with insight, supports their growth and development, provides mentor support, and challenges them to remain relevant – to ensure their business remains affluent, effective, competitive and continues to create value for clients.

One of the benefits of coaching is that it is conducted in real time, whilst the leader is facing and meeting challenges. Coaches are there for the leaders, for the teams – an important co-pilot in smooth and turbulent times.

Research shows that post a senior executive coaching experience organisations benefit from improved communications, clearer behaviours and superior performance goals.  This leads to improved relationships, team-work, job satisfaction, productivity and quality (Valerio & Lee, 2005).
